Yesterday I finally got the vinyl Around the World in a Day. I've always liked the cover painting. Even now it seems exceptional- like another world.
And the sleeve for Raspberry Beret was the picture of the girl on the album cover wearing the beret and the sleeve could unfold to a mini-poster. The same with Pop Life.
I was just looking at the cover for ATWIAD and noticed something: on top of the moutain near the band there is something round and pink. Looks like a nipple, I thought. It is, the mountain range in the background is a woman lying down. I just love finding small things like that in something I thought I knew well.

I never took a good look at the album cover. I bought this on vinyl a few years ago but wasn't able to listen to it until recently when I got a turntable. I got it mainly cuz Pop Life and Raspberry Beret are two of my favorite Prince songs ever. I gotta listen to the whole thing more. I do see the nipple you're talking about. That's funny.
