It seems to be about eating mushrooms and visiting Graceland. "bullet holes in Vernon's room out back", "Headless cast with jumpsuits". I am off to see FB in Georgia! Wish me safe travels!

Here is the direct quote. You can find the rest of the interview in the review section.
FW: "His Kingly Caves." What's that about?
FB: That is about Graceland. It's about a trip that I took to Graceland many years ago. I thought it would be fun to take hallucinogenic mushrooms while I was there. I was much younger than I am now. It's not something I would really do now. I was young and dumb and I went to Graceland with my girlfriend and we took mushrooms and it was a horrible and tense day. That's a telling of that day in that story.

Can someone please explain to me what these lyrics have to do with Graceland? Leopards, jumpsuit on a headless cast, polished jewels under two inch glass, and bullets holes in Vernon’s room out back don't mean anything to me. Thanks in advance.

Vernon was Elvis's dad, I think Graceland has a 'jungle theme room' with various animal skins, there is a display of Elvis's concert jumpsuits (presumably on headless casts), again his jewelry is on display - there are references to the posse (his mates/bodyguards) |

Elvis wore jumpsuits. So I guess there are a few on mannequins or the sort that freaked him out while on shrooms.
Polished jewels and glass. Elvis had mad ICE.
Vernon was Elvis' dad. Elvis liked guns and I guess there were bullet holes in the walls.
douche!

thanx, this song just moved way up the line for me, his thoughts are so abstract I cant help but being overwelmed by his lyrical universe, but this beats all. |

It is explained very well in an article posted on this forum. Can't remember quite where on the site...but I will try. Definately about eating mushrooms while touring Graceland with his girlfriend.
Strummer-man I had me a vision!
I bid a good-day to you sir! |
