I went to this record store today
I couldn't find it first
because I'm not that familiar with Amsterdam
but also because the record sign isn't installed
due an ache in the shoulder of the shopowner
Not only does he have this super cool pixies sign
he also has 2 Surfer Rosa paintings (the girl, but not the front cover with the breasts but the back cover and one of the inlay pictures) by a Irish painter, a woman, btw.
He also had 3 Frank Black/Pixies posters (not for sale)
and to my sweet surprise a copy of the limited edition 'Everything is new'-single for just 5 euros.
Talk about a great day out!
The owner of the shop told me that Frank Black has seen the pixies sign on the same site that's hyperlinked above, and that he liked the figures but he had to say that he never had sideburns.
