Swervedriver-- Mescal Head
Finally, someone else who likes Swervedriver. I've been listening to their live stuff these days.
Hand held shower nozzles are the demon enemy of the patriarch and should be destroyed.
Just picked up this one recently. I'm new to Swervedriver. Pretty good stuff.
.....and Cheese, you're right Nat King Cole has a dynamite voice. |

Yeah, let Swervedriver grow on you. All the LP's are great. The most criminally overlooked band of the last twenty years, hands down.

I'm now onto my Dad's Rhythm & Blues Allstars record he had when he was a kid. Been through Elmore James and Howlin' Wolf already, on Washboard Sam now, and preparing for Muddy Waters' Got My Mojo Workin' in a minute.

The Doors of the 21st century. "Live in Hollywood New year's eve 2004" Triple album. I just got it in the mail. Ian Astbury from "The Cult" on vocals. Sounds real good. Definately kinda trippy though. Astbury sounds like Morisson. http://www.robbykrieger.com/doors/index.html |

Speaking of Steve Malkmus solo stuff, I'm listening to "Discretion Grove" right now on the radio. Pretty good song.
