As of right now, my girlfriend and I are flying out to Indio in May... unless more dates are added near DC
I know a lot of people are against the reunion, or are down on the idea because it just wouldn't be the "same." Well, I for one was too young and stupid (and not in the U.S.) to catch the Pixies in their heyday, and i am FUCKING STOKED at the prospect of finally seeing them again! Same or not, I have little doubt that it will FUCKING ROCKKKKKKKK

If the Pixies aren't back together and never will be, then they aren't responsible for telling us because they don't exist.
But I guess I know what you mean... someone from the Pixies obviously knows of the rumors, so one of them better step up and tell us if they are true. Or maybe we'll just have to wait a year or 2 and realize it's not happening.

I agree, if this is not true then Frank should let us know thats its bullshit. For us foreigners who are seriously thinking of making the trip to the US for Coachella we need to know asap so we can arrange time off work for the long trip / book flights and order tickets.

the coachella website goes live with the full confirmed line-up sometime next week.
doesn't that go hand in hand with what someone here was saying about an official announcement coming from frank on the 25th or something? didn't i read that on one of these threads? or is it that the morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet?
anyways, either way... sometime next week all will be revealed as far as coachella goes. keep your fingers crossed.

Hmmm interesting responses...
I noticed that the NME article didn't cite what the "confirmed source" might have been, but they best have some brazen balls the size of watermelons if they would publish such a misleading snippit of news.
I haven't bought plane tickets as of yet, I'm definitely going to wait till there is a more official word (without a shadow of a doubt.)
