Having just got my record player back, I was going through my vinyls and found a Rough Trade sampler from 1990 with a Dig For Fire remix on it. Its kind of cool, a bit more guitar-centric which is always nice. Anyway, is this rare?

Hey, double Cheese, be a man and ask "is this expensive?"
He says "c'est la vie" and takes another dive. |

Hmmph, look at that. I didn't see that. So, is it expensive? I think I paid something like £1.99 in Oxfam...

is that the one with the different, and hugely superior, intro, or is it actually much more different than that?

Its actually only very subtly different, I think they're streching the popular definition of the word 'remix'. Its just different levels, i.e. more guitar, more distortion on the chorus.

No. As it says on the sleeve, I've just noticed: "remixed from the l.p."

actually talking about their singles, almost all of them had a slightly different version of the song, planet of sound, dig for fire, debaser, gigantic river euphrates, so their fun to buy if uve never heard them before, i think even velouria was just a better quality recording of the song, u could hear black frances more clearly at the end i think. |
