The Bowery Ballroom show was the BOMB! Even though the shows at Toads Place and Saratoga were great also, there's something about an NYC show that makes it.Franks music is so transcendent, mesmerizing, etc... that my body finds it impossible not to Mooove! and Grooove! to his genius. It's amazing to me that a God like him charges like $15 dollars, while has-beens charge like $350 dollars for the same old crap. It was really fun "turning on" the beautiful blonde who was so cool. And especially it was nice, grooving with you, BROOKE as we moved to the beauty of Mr. Blacks heavenly music. And those brilliant guitars soared to the sky.
By the way, it was such a contrast between Toads and last night since Toads was like 1/3rd full and the roof was leaking all over the place but it didn't matter because THE MAN still performed his magic and all the extra room made for more moving space. But the B Ballroom was the greatest. And, OH MY GOD! THOSE PIXIES TUNES!!!
Hope to see y'all at Warsaw on the 25th. (And, maybe at TLA in Philly?)..... Peace and Love
