I think Situation Red is one of those live bootlegs. I sure there are better bootlegs to choose from.

My personal opinion, take it for what it's worth, is that Situation Red and Subbacultcha are the two best boots I've heard. But what do I know..I'm a Frank Black fan not so much the Pixies. |

1. Doolittle 2. Dog in the Sand 3. Bug - Dinosaur Jr 4. Pod - Breeders 5. Bone Machine - Tom Waits 6. James Brown - Superbad/Slaughter's Big Ripoff era music (I don't really know which are actual albums because it's all so muddled nowadays, but I would take from his early 70s material) 7. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 8. John Prine - John Prine 9. Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground (not the Nico one) 10. White Album - Beatles 11. Fear of a Black Planet - PE
Damn this is hard. On second thought, I think I would hang myself from a palm tree.

1. The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds 2. Nirvana - In Utero 3. Pixies - Surfer Rosa 4. Sonic Youth - Murray Street 5. The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour 6. Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon 7. Frank Black - Black Letter Days 8. Radiohead - OK Computer 9. The Doors - Best Of 10. Velvet Underground - White Light White Heat
Reasoning behind FB choice: It was a toughy, but the more music, the better...it's the longest, along with TOTY, and TOTY is my least favorite.

TOTY - LEAST FAVORITE! AHHH!
1.Pixies - Surfer Rosa 2.Frank Black - TOTY
Ok, I got the obligatory albums out of the way.
3.The Cure - Disintegration 4.The Smiths - Singles 5.Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation (I had to leave Goo behind) 6.Man...or Astro-Man? - Destroy All Astro-Men!! 7.Against All Authority - All Fall Down 8.Choking Victim - No Gods / No Managers 9.Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace 10.Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant
I have a ton of other favorites, but I had to mix up the genres if I wasn't gonna be bored of one genre on the damned deserted island. I obviously only own a 10-disc cd carrying case, and unlimited batteries for the cd player. |
