the moment was there
the pixies reunion
a big hall with lot's of people inside
the band comes on, kim has the microphone like that one in the allision video. Frank has slimmed down and had grown his hair like the old pixies days. I saw Joey and Dave but I can't remember them.
They played some songs, Break My Body was one of them, and then they launched into Jane The Queen of Love, I was going nuts, because I did not expect them to play FB and the C's songs. Kim played her bass with 3 fingers and it really suited the song well. When the chorus began everybody sang ''Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane!'', Frank seemed very surprised the crowd even knew the song.
And then it happened, some roadie guy set up some electrical device and (I was at the front) I stepped on it, immediately the whole building was dark, apperently there was a power failure thanks to me. Everybody screamed 'You stupid Tommy!' (Apperently my name was Tommy). So I felt a bit sorry for ruiing the pixies reunion.
Suddenly I was in another place and I did not know how to come back to the reunion. Damn

Maybe it's a premonition...
I see this as a sign to kill you now for the future crime of ruining the reunion...kinda like in "Minority Report". Don't run. We'll get you soon. Buahahahaha.

yes
did you know I had another pixies reunion dream a few weeks before this one
All the members were there, but somehow Joey Santiago was replaced by a blonde guitarplayer
I remember that I thought:''Ohh yes, he's scandinavian!''
Which I think is a really weird thought, just because he's blonde...
Anyway, I've seen 2 pixies reunion gigs allready
So If you want to kill me TheCroutonFuton, go ahead

I did that once... Stepping on a cable and provoking a power failure. There was a salsa band playing on the front of a church in a small town called Tlaxcala in Mexico, and I accidentally stepped on the cable. Suddenyl all you could hear was the drums, and I went away rather quickly as everyone looked like they wanted to kill me. Thinking about it now I find it funny, but back at the time I was a bit scared.

If they should replace someone and put a cute blonde scandinavian instead, that should definitely be Kim.
Perhaps this is the key to the future reunion. Frank, if you're reading this, you know what to do. |
