I only mention this because a number of Pixies fans on the "What other bands..." thread expressed an admiration for the Buzzcocks. I saw them live on Saturday night, original line-up, older , wider and balder but they ripped the fucking place up. If you get a chance to see 'em, I urge you to do so at all costs!
Yes - Steve was particularly excitable. He kept screaming at the sound guy to turn up his monitor, cranked up his amp and finally chucked his Telecaster on the floor and clobbered with the mike stand. Pete watched the whole thing looking a bit bemused!
I've seen them last year when Steve had his birthday. They played almost all of the songs from Singles going steady! Most energetic gig I've ever seen!

You won't regret it Doog - and as Chicken says, they don't labour under the delusion that you're there to hear their new album. They just deliver all your faves, very fast and very loud.
