If you dig Pavement, Frank Black, the Pixies, Green Day and the Beach Boys, you might like this.
If you listen to it all and let me know what y'all think, I'll love you. Or not, depending on your orientation.

Listening...catchy tunes. Very enjoyable. The mix is a little rough and distorted, and how dare you encode to 112Kbps! But other than that...good stuff man.

Why encode at 112? Because he busted his arse making these songs and he doesn't feel very much like giving them away for nothing. I did the same thing. Of course, that does nothing to build demand.

Oh, so one could actually purchase the album? Cause it looks like it's only there for download. I'm really enjoying this stuff. Very well done. I wish the quality were a little better, but it's lo-fi and that's OK.

hehe, I'm listening to the first song right now. Reminds me a little of Heart Shaped Box because of the little "WAHS!" at the beggining with the chords, hehehe. Pretty good, though. I'm recording a lot of original stuff right now too...not nearly as well recorded...I only have a guitar and myself...so it's just guitar + guitar + my crappy vocals + sometimes crappy drum loops. So it pretty much sucks...I commend you on a job well done.

Cool album cover.
i'm downloading the songs now. I think 112 kbps is the way to go in his case. It's not too high that it takes up so much space, and people are getting excellent quality songs for free. And it's not too low that it's unbearable to listen to.

Hey that is some GREAT work man! Is every aspect of it a solo effort?

Thanks dudes- I'm getting the cd duplicated in the new year and it'll be available to buy (supercheap, just enough to cover costs), i'll post back when it's done.
Indeed, all a solo effort- I play everything on the album apart from the bass on 'Mondays..', although I wrote the line.

Ha, the ending of Here Today reminds me of the end of Sublime's 40 oz. to Freedom album. I imagine that's where you got the idea from. Cuz you do give a shout out to Sublime in there.

Yo' damn right, dawg! Sublime rule, it was a little "tribute", if you will.
