well I didn't realize the difference between playing lefthanded and righthanded when I first got a guitar. I was only 11 or 12....it wasn't until I was playing air guitar and realized I did it totally differently from when I was holding my guitar trying to play that I realized something was wrong. So I went to the local music shop and told them what was going on, and they said they could restring my guitar no problem

he did. He also played a flying V at least once in concert, and I believe I also have seen footage of him on an SG, but the upside-down strat is the guitar he's most known for playing

im pretty sure hendrix mostly restrung a right handed strat to left hand. although he could play holding lefty playing right strung, apparently....thats how i play.
does it have glass tubes in the back that occasionally have to be replaced?
------------------------ No....I'm playin' guitar for years and I'm still not sure about tubes and stuff! I know tubes give amps a warmer, more rounded tone. Non-tube amps use valves, don't they?
I actually got a Tele and a Vox amp because Frank used 'em in the Pixies (Marshall amps, too) and I'm sure he still uses Telecasters, at least....I believe he loves those little Piggyback amps.
