now, I love the episodes that i have seen, but being a bit slow on the uptake, that doesn't include many. so i thought i'd try my hand at one of the season dvd sets.
so which one?
cd-wow.com has got complete season 1 and season 3 sets for £14.99 each (dunno where season 2 has gone), which i think sounds riduculously cheap, but i only want one to wet my appetite.
so seeing as many of you seem to know alot about the series, which should is start with. |

The DVD set with season 1 also has season 2 and in fact contains more episodes than season 3. However, there's no doubt that season 3 has many of the best episodes. If I could only buy one, it would probably be season 3. It should whet you appetite nicely.

well some do, but they cost more.
i found the 1+2 boxset also, but thats £24.99 which is a bit more than i wanna spend.
but I too was leaning more to season 3 purely cause i'm greedy and it's got more episodes. |

If it comes down to season 1 vs. 3, then there's no question it's 3. Season 2 rivals season 3 for goodness, though.

I would get Season 3. Series' like this are always rough at the beginning. While still funny, they're still in the process of experimenting and perfecting the craft. Look at the Simpsons. Pretty rough till season 3. Season 4 is argueably the greatest season ever.

It's off the air though thanks to record DVD sales, there's talk of reviving the show.
