My roommates cat bats his dish around with his paw all the time. It seems to be what entertains him the most. It's a plastic dish that is shaped like a cat, and it slides across the linoleum, making an annoying sound with every bit that it moves. I'm thinking there are two solution to this: A) put a heavy object underneath the hollow part of the bowl (the part that is shaped like a cat) so that the bowl is basically impossible to move for the weak creature, or B) just kill the cat. Okay, so I like the cat just enough to rule out the second solution. Still...
