I was bored yesterday, so unfortunetaly i turned on the idiot box to see how much stoopider i could get myslef...(heh) And i stumble across this show called 21c.... hmm i wonder...well it wasn't so much the name of the program that bothered me, but what it had opened my eyes to. Something called Hell House... some sort of scare tactics for the youth of today...It was set up like a haunted house, but what was inside was NOT a harmless fright for your buck no no... It was a choice. To either believe in God, or walk through a crowd of newly recruited christians like some sort of demon. I'm sure someone has heard of this....jeepers man.

yeah, Coldheart - I've seen a documentary of that - it doesn't surprise me, but it is disgusting and lame-o brainwashing tactics, sadly also not very new, IMHO. "This American Life" on NPR did a really interesting show on this and other related topics a while back - I think you would really really enjoy it. The archived show is free at this link:

There is also an incredible documentary called Devil's Playground, by filmmaker Lucy Walker, that you can rent at the video store. It is one of the most intersting documentaries I have ever seen. It is also described in that episode (at the above link) "Faron Yoder lives in Amish Country in Indiana. When he was a
teenager, like every Amish sixteen-year-old, Faron was allowed to abandon the restrictions of Amish life and live as a regular American teenager. It's part of an Amish tradition called rumspringa, which lets Amish kids drive cars and drink and party for a few years, before they decide whether or not to be baptised into the Amish church....." |

that would be fun to dress up as Ozzy Osbourne and walk through the Hell House, flashing devil signs with both hands the whole way..
or, perhaps just a Slayer t-shirt would do the trick. |

What the hell is the internet?, And what is the show your talking about?, Sounds like it belongs on like MTV or something. Speaking of that has anyone seen that old MTV show its not on the air anymore but they usta fore people to some haunted place or something and scare the hell out of them. Can't recall the name!
