OK, I just heard this today from a friend who's not even into the Pixies. Apparantly there's a rumour that the Pixies will reform and play the Coachella festival in California in April sharing the bill with Radiohead.

Anyone else heard this noise?

apparently, thom yorke himself alludes to that in an interview in this month's urb magazine.
i've already booked my hotel room.

and btw... the dates are supposedly may 1 & 2 for 2004 instead of the usual last weekend in april...

when will the madness end? it would be nice to just know.. but i guess they're just fucking with us to make it a surprise when and if it happens..

at least if it's at Coachella i'll get to check it out. (and then do some gambling at Agua Caliente)

I was listening to 2fm (IRISH NATIONAL RADIO!) on saturday morning and the dj said the rumour was that they'll be playing next year's Wittness festival...

If all the rock magazines don't have a "rumor of the year" category for their year-end issues, they oughta get one.
