does anyone know offhand how many stamps it would take to mail a cd? (without a jewlcase. just one cd). i never have time to go to the post office, so i was just going to put some stamps on an envelope.

i know, this is a boring topic, but i need to know.

Two First Class stamps would do it.

Might be overkill, though.

how much is a first class stamp?

i'm sending in the country.. swimmer - thanks for the link, but i don't know how much a cd weighs, so that doesn't really help.

i guess i'll go to the post office.. i just thought someone might know "offhand".. i'm sure 4 stamps should do it no?

Come on, it's not like someone working for the post office is likely to do you a random act of violence. They only hurt themselves.

One First Class stamp is $0.37

If you send it in a little cardboard case like this, it would probably run you just about $1

Am I wrong? Anybody?

maybe only 3 stamps then?

c'mon.. we're talking about possibly saving me 37 cents here!

thank you for your unnecessary smart ass comment.

(for the record, thus far, no one has definitively answered my simple, not-so-life-and-death question)..

I send out discs in regular jewel boxes, in bubble pak envelopes. $1.06 Milwaukee to either coast.

what a surprise.. within minutes you've responded with another asshole remark, in a thread that you deemed a big waste of time.

you truly are a champion Swimmer.

i hope you get some relaxation on turkey day.. say hi to the folks.

Hey, I resent the fact that you lumped me in with swimmer and called me an asshole. You owe a certain someone an apology.

Good lord Swimmer, you are the first person on this forum to actually make Floop mad. Why? Why? Why?

I hoped never to see the day when Floop got pissed off.

Fuck.

i am (partially) human.

you're right El Barto, i shouldn't have lumped you into the asshole catagory. you're comment was merely "smart ass".. i apologize.

even Swimmer's comment wasn't anything to get pissed off at.. i can handle being called a "fucking prick" and an "idiotic jack off"..

but the Orange comment was going too far. WAY too far.

please don't mention that color again. ever.

thank you.

i sincerely hope everyone (who celebrates it) has a Happy Thanksgiving (even Swimmer)... i intend to.

bye.

So did you ever send a CD, floop? I'd probably say 2 stamps would do it, 3 stamps to play it safe.
