yeah, first time i saw them i wasn't really a fan, back in 97 i think... ok computer was out and i thought (i was young and foolish) it sucked, i loved the bends back then... so i went along anyway, my dad had a spare ticket going, and i was blown away... lighting, the music, the talent, the energy, the songs, it was all perfect... next day was spent listening to ok computer on repeat all day... one of my fave albums of all time. in fact it's my fave none pixies/fb album of all time!

Wow, fucking wow, i saw Radiohead last night at Earls Court (shit venue by the way) and they were AMAZING really amazing. I've aways liked them but never really loved them but its really shocking how good they really are.
Take my advice, if you ever have the oppotunity, go and see them you really will not regret it. |

I too became interested with Radiohead in 97 with OK Computer...was amazed by the album. Immediately bought Pablo Honey and the Bends, and spun nothing but Radiohead for months (besides Frank and Pixies, of course!). In 2000, after highly anticipating Kid A, I was shocked by how much I hated it. HATED it! I listened to it again and again, hoping I would like it, alas, I failed. But I kept the cd, and continued listening to the previous albums. When Amnesiac hit the stores, I was hopful for something better than Kid A. It was worse (mind you these are my opinions, and I respect others). I was so angered by this I pulled a Beatle-burning and trashed ALL Radiohead I owned! See, I don't like a lot of stuff, so when I become disenchanted, I tend to go overboard. I had written Radiohead off. Well, a few months back Hail To The Thief came out, and I was tempted...but NO, I said. Last month I broke down and blindly bought it (along with the new Travis). I found Hail to be the most refreshing thing in a long time! I absolutely LOVE it! Radiohead has redeemed themselves in my opinion...and thankfully so! When I have some extra cash I will be sure to re-buy OK Computer...just thought I'd get all that off my chest! Thanks for listening!

I was hoping you'd mention that.
