Two Spaces, LBF!!
But I would say if this friend isn't familiar with the pixies I wouldn't give him B-sides.

My cover of Dog Gone...just kidding.
I'd like a copy of that cd....or I could just find all the songs in the list and make it myself, duh.
I haven't made a mix for anyone in a while. It's a nice thing to do. |

I might have to make myself a copy of that, floop, up to track 24 at least. Good Ween pick, btw, though not the one I would think to put on a CD. Nor Bailey's Walk.

Funny how you picked the most Frank Black sounding song from their album.

Bailey's Walk is one of the few Pixies songs that's never struck me as anything special. Perhaps it will eventually. If I were to put a Ween song on a mix, it'd be something from the last 3 records, like Exactly Where I'm At, The Argus, or Buckingham Green. While I like everything Ween has ever put out, I think the last three records have been exceptionally stellar in both songwriting and performance. |

I loved Bailey the first time I heard it. I couldn't believe it was only a B-side. I always pictured this song as a music video, and animated at that. Some drunk walking thru parking lots and highways. Of course the animation would be very abstract, lots of fucked up colors and such.
I've also always pictured South Bay and St. Francis Dam Disaster as animated vidoes also.

I think it took me 2 listen's to fall in love with Bailey's Walk. The first time I heard it, I was like, wtf is he saying: "the method of stop, tap, spin"
I can't remember what I thought he said, but I just could not for the life of me figure out what he was saying.
The song is very very simple, fun to play, and weird, I love it.
And it's about some dude that walked the streets when FB was an exchange student right?

Floop, I agree to the ceasefire if you do. And if you quit misquoting me in yellow. :)
You don't have to send me a CD, though, I'll start slowly amassing these various tunes on my own. Sadly, the only songs on that list I really even know well are Pixies, Ween, and New Pornographers.

I was also gonna say that I don't much care for Baily's Walk but it seems to be well loved and I think it was nabbed right quick for the tribute cd.
