Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry has La La Love You, but I think it was only in the commercials.

Look for two Pixies' songs in the soon-to-be-released (December?) movie called : STUCK ON YOU with Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear (I think). If my sources are correct, look for "Here Comes Your Man" over the opening credits or first scene and "La La Love You" somewhere in the movie. That's all folks --- except, the re-unuion drum beat seems to be getting a little louder,
but my sources can't confirm.

Jonahan Demme's movie Married to the Mob has got some of (as i recall) "Isla de Encanta" playing during the end credits. Since that was made in '88 I would guess that that is the earliest.
