For those of you who love, miss, and worship this band and wonder what happened...looks like we're gonna get a box. It also appears that they're in the studio finishing the Glider EP, which was acutally supposed to be the new LP.

Is the Glider EP coming out under the MBV name, or Kevin Shields?

Well, from what I understand, it's gonna be a My Bloody Valentine. The Glider EP was an unfinished LP.

Should be interesting. How do you follow up Loveless? If you're Kevin Shields, I guess you don't for at least a decade.

Yeah, no kidding. From what I understand, he's been scoring music for film. Pretty dang neat.

Have you heard his new stuff? I think it's kinda so-so. I can't help but compare it to MBV. And I hate it when people compare Frank to the Pixies, yet here I am. I suck.

Take it easy on yourself. I have heard nothing beyond Loveless, and a hand full of live shows so I really don't know. Of course it's gonna sound like My Bloody Valentine because as far as I can tell, he was primarily responsible for the way it sounded. Makes sense to me.

I have the Loveless album, and it's good music, but nothing I was ever fascinated with or taken by. It all kind of runs together into one piece of music, and that's cool, but I like my individual songs.
