I love these guys. Just wish they didn't break up last year, but the lack of support from Interscope had it's toll.

Best of?

These guys wanted desperately to be the Pixies. So many similarities. The dude did write some great songs though.

Yeah, the best of is kind of miss-leading, since they only 'officialy' put out two full length albums. There follow up to 1994 Rubberneck was scrapped by Interscope in 1997, and that momentum in so hard to get back after 7 years when the label finaly releases a record. They were around since 1989 so the band has something like 40 unreleased songs. There are alot of really good songs that might never be heard.

The lead guy has a new kick ass band called the Burden Brothers. Serious rock... Some tracks on mp3.com, and the homepage is www.burdenbrothersmusic.com.

I hear the Burden Brothers do a cover of CZAR at all there live shows. If you can find a way of getting me a copy of that I'd be in your debt.

I'm way up here in Canada and the BB headquarters seem to be in Texas - and only Texas. If I come across anything good I'll send it along. Side note: Did you order any of their eps or anything? What I've heard is awesome. Good merchandise as well.

I got both EP's. I mixed them together so I could enjoy them all as one. Beautiful Night is still my Fave.

I love this pic
