Just got back to UK after Dusseldorf show - great gig. Guys on great form, and a cracking support slot from Serafin (much better than the Astoria - you could actually hear the songs properly). Was amazed at how small (and un-crowded) the venue was - my gf's mum actually went with us and she stood behind us calmly drinking a cup of coffee during the support set at the front with us! Surreal... Really friendly people there and both bands were great to chat to. Persuaded the nice sound guy to give me FB's broken string (yep I'm sad, but hey - ) from his acoustic. Don't remember Hermaphroditos or Goodbye Lorraine... Shepherd's Bush next up...
-you can try to put it on your own guitar. Sometimes broken strings can be saved, if they are long enough -make a necklace from it -frame it -wear it on your head, how would you call it then? bandage?

I honestly have no idea.... Probably frame it or something I guess. Wasn't really thinking at the time - there's not enough of it fully intact to re-string anything, and besides I use electric strings on my acoustic 'coz they bend easier when I use pedals. Or - maybe I can frame a picture and use it as the string to hold the picture up? My gf Christina got Scott's drumstick too which is a bit harder to frame than a used string. Maybe she can try and fashion some kind of weird tribal-like headwear or something?
