Hey all. I know how to post images in the body of a post but when I tried to create a signature with a tiny icon it wouldn't let me. I followed the instructions given in the FAQ about the CoF and thought putting an image here would be the same as when posting an image in the body of a post.
When I entered the web address for the image that I wanted between the two brackets [ img] and [ /img] the image still wouldn't show up. Any suggestions?

| You must have had the image's URL wrong. Paste it into your browser and see if it shows up (making sure it's not on a local drive). |

no, it's the right URL. I even tried it with a couple of other pictures from the web but no go. What do you mean "local drive?"

Like it can't be on your computer. It has to be on the internet somewhere where we can all see it or it won't work.
It should work exactly like posting a picture in the body.

Hey I figured it out. For some reason it wouldn't work last night. Ah well, thanks for the help.

| Remember when I posted that lame-ass Star Trek pic? The exact same thing happened to me. I tried and tried to post a pic, exactly like the directions said, and to no avail. Then, when CoF was about to graciously answer my query, it all of a sudden worked. |

Well see, I joined up with popeye so as to save my good eye. I'll probably change the wording to make it more clever or understandable. Any suggestions?
