You need to download and install the BitTorrent software (http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent). Once installed, click on the .torrent file and it should open up, ask for a download space, and start downloading (as long as there are people hosting the file).
BitTorrent is multicast software. You're downloading from other people who are either downloading at the same time or just plain hosting the file. You're also uploading to other people who are downloading the file. Good stuff.
