Check this out from Yahoo UK news, although I don't believe the stats about the Scots!:
Most women have dog breath
LONDON (Reuters) - More than half of Britons could have breath that smells worse that their pet's, according to a survey.
And women are the worst offenders, with three out of five failing a sulphur emissions test, according to research by toothpaste manufacturer Aquafresh.
"Some mouths may be dirtier than cat litter," dentist Brian Grieveson said in a statement that accompanied the research released on Thursday.
"Most people in the UK do not realise that cleaning your tongue is as important as cleaning your teeth," he added.
Scots had the best oral hygiene, with only 10 percent suffering bad breath, compared to 27 percent in London. Throughout the nation, 52 percent were rated at a level that could be worse than that of a pet animal.
"We are one of the last countries to understand the need to clean our tongue, with people in America and parts of Europe practising tongue cleaning routinely," said Grieveson.
Secretaries were the freshest profession, achieving 100 percent freshness in the survey of 1,000 people, while retail staff fared worst and received the warning: "You could be losing sales".

Maybe the companion animals there eat better than the humans. =) |

I think that the lack of clopsing here is part of the story. In areas of England where clopsing is endemic, and pets are invited to join in the "fun", the sulphur emissions testing equipment is redundant after only three tests. According to other sources, China is now also experiencing this boom. Can't think why.

I tell you what, British womens breath smells like roses compared to the Chinese.... so many times a student, or a taxi driver has spoken to me and I have had to turn my head away before I spew.
T.P.... you allegations against the Clops is nothing but pure heresy.... you have now be reinstated on the '2004 Clops hitlist.'

I agree, and I have only just got myself off the bloody list. At least the Clopser's first fatwa aginst Osama Bin Laden is still outstanding, surely this must buy me some time.

Itchload, it's fucking awful isn't it...... the worst though are Beijing taxi drivers. You get in the car and it stinks of their bad breath. Nasty.... you'd have thought that someone would have introduced Aquafresh or something like that.
T.P., FYI Mr Laden is not on my list which can only mean one thing...... 'Sleep with one eye open!'
