hey, guys from USA, do you know a french band call : Noir Desir?
i ask this question, because first, i don't think so, and second : what a pity for you... this band is the best french rock band. sound noisy, the singer got a loud voice, and the music is very original (as original as Frank? hum...).

I doubt anybody here except the french guys (and may be the belgians) know who Noir Desir are.
Having said that, it is true that they are a great band.

| ouash!! not a big fan of noir desir. for good french rock, check out Louise Attaque. as for quebec, jean leloup is the best available. for some good belgian rock, take a look at zita swoon (not french, but flemish, all in english). |

yeah, ok with you d3niz3n (how do you say it???!!!) : louise attaque great band, but i like only the first album. for zita swoon, i saw them last year (first part of Muse) and it's a good band.
aaaahhh... isnt'it wonderfull to speak about european band?

| it is fun to talk about european bands. true, first i did not like the second LA as much, but the more i listened the more i liked it. zita swoon is a good band, though a bit all over the place sometimes. i'm still hooked on their first incarnation as moondog jr. now, what about M? |

Noir desir have some great songs. My girl brought their disc back from when she went to France. I like 'A ton étoile'. Thanks for making me think of them again.
