Saw Frank Black and the Catholics at the Waterfront in Norwich. This was the first (but not the last) time I saw these guys live and it was amazing. Admittedly it was the first time I heard them aswell, though I have been trying to get hold of their records (is it just me or does nowhere in England stock FB AND THE C'S records?). I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away. Even some Pixies classics thrown in there aswell. For anyone who hasn't heard or seen the Catholics before, take my advice, see them live, THEN buy the album, you'll appreciate the songs so much more.
Bye for now, Matt |

Hey Matt67, glad you enjoyed the show. Can you remember any of the setlist? |

To steveplymouthuk, thanks for letting me know where I can the older records from.
To Scarla O, the setlist was everything from Show Me Your Tears, plus Caribou, Cactus and a couple of other Pixies songs. I'm pretty sure there must have been some older Catholics' songs, but since I'd never heard any of them I'm afraid I can't tell you exactly what they were. Sorry! |

Yeah, everything from Show Me Your Tears was played. When I listened to the album the next day I remebered all the songs from the night before, except the older stuff which I can't name. |
