I'm off to see FB in Pompey on Saturday, although unfortunately theres is quite an important footy match on that evening as well that i really dont wanna miss.
How long is FB generally on stage for, I remember reading a gig review from a couple of years ago and he was on for over 2 hours, which could clash with the game.
Also is the support act worth seeing, as I will probably have to miss them as well?
I realise there are probably answers to these questions in other posts, but I'm scared that I might see a set list, I hate having an idea of what songs are going to be played b4hand. Sorry |

I presume that you mean the Turkey/England game (6pm kick off). If so, then I'm in the same boat as you. A quick glance at my ticket stub from the FB gig at the same venue in 2001 says "Doors 8pm"; by which time the game should be all over, bar the mandatory cowardly stabbing of English fans by the bad losers. I haven't got my ticket to hand for Saturday's gig, as I'm picking it up on the door. What I intend to do, is find a pub as near to the venue as possible that is showing the game (Pompey's full of pubs), then leg it round to the venue straight after. Good luck (unless you happen to be a Turk, of course).

FB&C won't be on before 9pm, and if you're quick enough you may just catch Serafin - worth a look I thought. Sheffield gig was excellent, so atleast when England lose you can end the evening on a high |

maybe that’s why the players are threatening not to go to turkey – so they can see frank, too. |

My advice would be to forego the match, as watching England play football against teams like Turkey often leads to disapointment. You're better off getting to the gig in good time, where you definitely won't be disapointed. |

The Turkey v England game is being shown in "The Edge Of The Wedge" (next door to the venue). Coverage begins 5.30pm. Jeer the moslems, cheer The Catholics, get drunk and whoop like monkeys! Win, lose (unthinkable), or draw, it should be a damn good night - see you there chaps.
