I took this from the Yahoo! group, but apparently Frank will be playing Philly Nov. 21st. Which, hopefully means there are probably more tour dates to come.

| As I said on the Plain, there are dates that had not been confirmed yet, but he said he'll be doing that this week. Keep an eye on the tour dates page within the next week or 2 to get the latest dates. |

| I would say so. From what I know, Reid Paley and David Lovering will be opening every show, with The Bennies opening a lot of the shows (AFAIK, all US show dates) |

I think I'm gonna have to go to Athens and shoot for that one, because the one closest in West Colubmia is 21+ as well as the other Atlanta one, so Athens is the only choice being 18+.

dude, i took a plane from brazil to see the man in chicago last april. it was the greatest thing ever.
hmm, ok: i didn't took a plane JUST because of this show, but the show was the excuse that I needed to do the trip. as soon as I got money, I'll do it again. It was amazing. |

you should play Asheville, NC. Sure this town can be crappy, but someone needs to shake up this town and knock some rock and roll into it.
You can stay at my house. We can have a campfire and sing kumbayah while looking out for bears. Do you like marshmallows? We can get some marshmallows.

well, supposedly if you don't bother them they will leave you alone. i mean, you don't wanna tape a filet mignon to your face and lay out in the yard overnight. that would be bad. But i guess most of the bears are pretty tame. We just have black bears. I saw a mom and her 3 cubs in my back yard! i've only lived her for 6 months so it was bizarre.

| Yeah, thats a nightmare. I saw Frank three times last year, Sheffield, London Astoria and Highbury. Unfortunately I was in Dublin when he played Reading as I would have seen him again. I just hope he returns to play the UK in January or early Feb cos thats when I'm back in the U.K. for a couple of months. In fact if he decided to play Beijing then that would be even better... Fu Man Chu plays Beijing! |

Words can't describe the Dublin show last year. If I could re-live one night over again (and again, and again, and again...(you get the message). The only gig that comes close was the pixies last gig in Belfast all those years ago. But to add insult to injury, after missing an amazing set at the Witness festival (according to friends that were there), Frank was nowhere to be seen on the Irish TV coverage of the show.
I know it sounds selfish to expect an annual visitation, I suppose I can but only dream. I just hope the next time we get to experience Sir Charles it won't be too far into the future. Maybe we could get two nights next time around. |
