Anyone else see this yet?
Not very impressed.
Music was good but documentary style was lacking.
Found it to be slow moving and uninteresting in many parts.
Oh well. Maybe too harsh of a critic?!

In Toronto at the Royal Theatre on College. It was the premiere in Toronto last night. It is also playing tonight.

Why is this thread in the games forum?

Anyway, I saw the film and thought it was really cool, but I don't know that it's really something that non-fans of TMBG would appreciate. Oddly enough, the director specifically said he was gearing it toward people who weren't really big fans of the band.

I agree with that bit about non-fans.....I was trying to get a bunch of people to come see it here in Edmonton, but I'm glad I didn't. It was really cool to me, and I think it works well enough as a documentary, but the subject is simply too idiosyncratic to appeal to many people. After watching it, I even thought to myself that I probably wouldn't have liked it at all if I weren't so into the band.

Nothing is ever something.
