Does anyone here listen to the Mountain Goats and if so do you know where I can find some bootlegs of live shows? I'm hoping to find a place online before I seek out physical trade as I have nothing yet to offer. I also can't get on any file sharing programs at school. Thanks.

You know what dude, I would have an EXCELLENT Mountain Goats bootleg if it weren't for my idiocy.
He played here a few months ago, and it was a spectacular show. great, cosy venue with tables and chairs right near the front, not many people turned up but that was good, nice crowd cosy atmosphere. The tie best gig I've been to all year (with The Breeders), was totally passionate and brilliant, and for the encore he sat in one of the chairs with the crowd and belted out "The Greatest Death Metal Band Ever", excellent, excellent show. Anyway, I was going to tape it, but couldn't be bothered going to my university that day to borrow a dictaphone to record it with.
Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!
Anyway, to answer your question, I don't know of any, I will have a look on Soul Seek later though, as I'm interested in hearing them too.

Oh man, that show sounds great. That show was with the Breeders? I'm waiting for him to do an east coast tour. He's on the west coast now which makes me think it's only a matter of time. Well thanks for responding; I was beginning to think I was the only one here who listened to them. If you come across anything let me know. Thanks again. |
