Be it your 7-11, McDonalds, or any other store that offers courtesy cups. Who here abuses the power of them and fills them with soda, cappucino, slurpee, or smoothie?
I'm against the abuse.

Not me. I stand united with Jimmy against this beverage leverage. |

i think they should get rid of the courtesey cup all together. you need to bring your own cup as to not waste the others. |

Does anyone else feel guilty when they take change out of there? Especially more than a penny or two...I see people do it without flinching. Bastards.

It's ok for those bastards to take as much as they want. As long as on their next visit they replace all they took (plus 2% interest per day).

i thought we were talking aboout courtesy cups.. as in, water cupts; getting a cup for water but secretly filling it with Root Beer or whatever?
count me in.. i'm all for it (stealing that is)..
i guess it does suck, but when you consider how much fast food chains rip you off in terms of soda, they sort of owe you in a way. when you think about it.
good topic by the way. |

I was with Dean at first..i was thinking the 'FIND A PENNY SHARE A PENNY SOME MORE STUPID PENNY LINES' containers they have at stores...and taking them and filling them with soda..uh..okay..
But i'm smart as a rat..i'm much smarter than that.. I am the fool who realized what these folks were talking about before i opened my mouth. =)

I thought by courtesy cup you meant when you play soccer or football and you forget your groin protection and so you borrow from the "Need a Coutesy Cup, Take a Courtesy Cup" basket of groin protection.
But, uh, yeah, you know I am down with asking for water then filling it with Sprite if they can see through it or another beverage if they can't.
I usually do this at White Castle's when god graces me with the ability to hit White Castle's for lunch or post drinking or smoking binges. |

Ah, yes, the guilty pleasure of White Castle. Sliders....Used to go there in Louisville after hot, sweaty shows at the underventilated Uncle Pleasant's in Louisville, KY. Nothing goes better w/heat exhaustion and those steamy globs of meat product than a giant cup of Big Red!!! (tastes kinda like carbonated bubble-gum spit)
Aye! For shame! I never even knew about the courtesy cup. Therefore, I haven't yet abused the "vessel generosity" of the mega fast-food/gas station corporations. ;)

Well, if you'd just give me the cool cats I asked for, none of this pain would be necessary...

The sheer volume that 30+ implies is pretty hilarious... ly underestimated. I conservative guesstimate a gazillion.

I just saw that the other night. Not a bad movie, considering that you know you're not going to be getting into anything ultra-intelligent. I had to laugh when they used the bullet time and everything near the beginning. Just a little too cheesy.

I thought the ending was a little too premature, and the scene with the older chairs had me cringing, but the meal dialogues had me splitting a gut.
"Crutons!"
