Right Im sorry but there is not a chance on earth that trompe le monde is better than where is my mind? Who cares if its cliche to like it?
I was always amazed that Alec Eiffel wasn't on the best of when any idiot can hear its better than um.....Caribou or tut Gigantic. |

can i just say, motorway sucks, as does bird dream. why do u guys bum trompe le monde- those songs arent even in the pixies top 30, let alone one of them winning it!!

Motorway wouldn't have been my pick for best Pixies song (I actually voted for it because I thought it didn't stand a chance against Gouge Away), but it's a great song and would've been in my top ?? list. Today.

It's impossible for me to make a list and it should be for any true fan. The songs change place in rank a lot depending on my mood and mindset (if I even have one at the time. ;) ) This is all subjective and no one should get upset about it.

Interesting. Much different from how I'd rank these songs but it was fun to see other's opinions for or against certain songs. Wish I'd been paying attention when all the cd's were being voted on.

Gouge Away is one of the rare songs where the chorus is an anticlimax in the song and the verse is the climax. true genius in it's simplicity. |
