This is delicious for music elitists (like most of us here?). Listening to Justin Timberlake can in fact kill you...Please, kids, DONT sing along to Justin Timberlake, Mother Nature just doesn't like it at ALL...
Driver crashes after bee flies into mouth Thursday, September 18, 2003
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
DAYS CREEK, Ore. -- A Winston man told police he crashed his car after a bee flew into his mouth while he was singing along with Justin Timberlake's song "Rock Your Body" on the radio.
A Douglas County sheriff's spokeswoman said John L. Nunes, 19, was trying to get rid of the bee or yellow jacket when his car hit a tree.
"I kind of panicked and went off the road," Nunes said yesterday.
He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg.
"I had to get a stitch in my tongue, and I got a gash on my left ankle," Nunes said. The tongue injury was from his teeth, not the bee, he said.

Now he's in danger of getting the shit beat out of him by his friends for singing along to a Justin Timberlake song.

The thing that's funny to me is how come he had to mention what song he was singing along to anyway?
I mean, does he want Timberlake to pay his medical bills or something?
He could have easily said, I was singing along to Led Zepplin's Black Dog when a Hummingbird flew in my mouth.
It sounds a lot cooler that way. |

true Swimmer, but that's the tragedy, he thinks TIMBERLAKE IS COOL!!! He probably thought the cops would say, "Ohhhhh, Rock My Body, how could you resist?!?!" |

I think Rock Your Body has a subliminal message - you can't NOT get the song in your head once you hear about it. IMHO, Justin Timberlake is very boring and predictable. He's like a whitebread mayonnaise sandwich and I think there are people who do what he does, much better than how he does it.

I'm against any of these people who completely 'correct' their vocal electronically on CD's to the point that they can never sing live. Just up there on stage PRETENDING to be singing. Its bizarre if you ask me.
What the hell IS a Janet Jackson or Brittany Spears 'performance' anyway? Its not a concert, its some sort of performance, but, it is not a concert if you arent playing music live. They are like record release parties or something. NSYNC, Justin, whatever, they are all ACTORS, not musicians IMHO...

I liked "Rock Your Body" a lot more when Michael Jackson wrote it circa "Off The Wall" 20+ years ago.

If I was in the mood, I'd dish up a graphic to go along with this story. Maybe tomorrow.
