I was listening to it today and I thought it sounded so much like a lazier, more mellow counterpart to Gauge Away with the chords and the dynamics and stuff. Anyone else think so?

Gauge away you gotta check that gauge, but really ignoring your typo I thought you were crazy for saying such a thing, but I went and listened to them, and I see what you're saying. I think it's because the drums are somewhat similar.

I can see the similarity...the first time I heard it, I knew it sounded like one of his other songs, and now I know which song I was thinking of. Excellent song, by the way.

i sort of see the similarity. i think it's because of how it goes from C to G to C like gouge away goes from E to G# to E etc.. (i know that's not even the same progression but still)

Also because he starts with teh "chorus" of sorts and uses the verses where you'd normally hear the chorus.

I haven't picked up on this similarity, but I'll have a listen when I am on my way home from work. Both are cracking songs, possibly the best Frank has done.

It sounds the same the same way "Run Through The Jungle" and "The Old Man Down The Road" sound the same.

If you were to take it apart and take a narrow view....yes.
