For those who are usenet-savvy... someone (apparently from Austin TX) posted the "Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day" album in its entirety. You can find it in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.indie. It wasn't crossposted to any other groups.
Whoever you are-- thanks. I finally got that damned "Sister Isabel" that's eluded me until now.

If your ISP's news server is consistently missing file parts, you might have to go with a premium news service to get satisfaction. Newsgroups are not very popular (compared to web and email), so ISPs usually don't put much money or effort into the servers.
The MP3s are still complete at Earthlink. |

GigaNews actually offers lower priced service now. I think it's like 10GB for 11.99. Not bad at all.

they don't offer the features that EasyNews does unfortunately...I usually just use a site like nfonews.com to see what's been posted to what newsgroup (of course, not everything is listed there). The service I signed up for with GigaNews a while ago is $11.95 for 6GB a month + 300MB free. PLUS they have a server in which only half of your downloads counts, so technically it's 9GB a month. Great retention and awesome speeds.
