I'll readily admit I am not good enough to do it, but I know that there are many people out there he can. I challenge someone to start tabbing out Frank Black bass tabs. There is a total lack of them on the internet. Why is this?
The main reason (I feel) that bass tabs are lacking anywhere and everywhere is because the bass just follows the note progression of the guitar. Some bassists don't bother doing any fills and pretty much just lay the rhythm down (which is their job) with an occassional fill here and there. Dave McCaffrey is pretty much like that, following the note progression of the song.
