is it possible for individual users to set the time on the board to their timezone? it's a bit hard to work out when things were posted when it's san fransico time, or whatever it is.

I think it's better with one global time, especially if/when we have some coordinated event (there's one on the way) coming up. Just post a message and check what the time difference is. For me, it's an hour.

fair enough, but it's like 8 hours for me and easily confuses me.

prehaps the global time should be GMT, seeing as it's like the 'neutral'...

... or is it because i live in england? ;)

Just pay attention to the minute, that's what I do. Why does it matter anyway? Are you using this place as your clock or something? Can't you just refresh on ACTIVE TOPICS to see what was posted since your last visit? I don't geddit...

Haven't you noticed the FB.net world revolves around western Canada? Fortunately I'm in the same time zone, so I'm not compaining.

hey i wasn't really complaining, i wouldn't seriously ask for the forum clock to be set to my convenience. i jsut wanted to know if there was a hidden option to change it according to where you are, like most forums i've seen. there isn't. end of discussion.

oh, and i say this in the most uncomplaining, unmoaning, unnannoyed and uncaring way... but the minute is out by a fair few minutes too :P (although that would probably just be my computer that's wrong)

Maybe some day...

In the mean time, we're looking at PST. Reason being that's my time zone. Naah.

Also, if you don't like that, it's FB's residential time zone. Can't argue that now. =)

Oh then that makes it OK

Actually it's slow I think. I'll test it. The time on the TV Guide channel is 5:17 and it says I posted this at...

Actually, I've decided to go a different route based on this discussion, it was related to the Pixies tribute.
