put minidisc recordings on the computer? Do you play it on the MD player and record it on the computer? Do you just download it onto the computer? What program can you use? any free ones?

i don't have a mini disc recorder but i imagine it has an 1/8th inch output that can use a cable to run into your sound card. then use a program such as sound forge or something to record the .wav file from the player. someone else out there may know more about it though as i have never used one.

They usually have SPDIF plugs, but you need a sound card with an SPDIF in..that's the best signal you'll get.

Otherwise i think it's analog..
