Where did most of you first learn of Frank Black? From the Pixies. Arguably one of the best bands ever. My personal favorite. My wedding song was the slow version of Wave of mutilation. I would love nothing more than to see the Pixies live and in person. However, people on this forum and many many others would rather argue the fact that they're either not getting together or they shouldn't. Didn't your mother ever tell you, " If you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all"? How about a little support! Of course your "sources" say he won't do it. You add fuel to the fire with your negative attitudes. If everyone posted they want nothing more in life than to see the Pixies before they die, then I think Mr. Black would be a little more inclined to sway his thoughts (as well as the rest of the band). Don't frett. I talked with "the Pixies" yesterday and reassured them that most of the members of the forum meant no ill by their words. They will begin deliberating soon...
Really though, FB is the one that will make the reunion happen (10 years). This will happen despite any talk from parties not of Pixie-blood. We have no bearing on such issues. Maybe only to fuel each other's rage.
By the way you should have written 'You're' instead of 'Your'...... I'm being bitchy as someone did the same to me a while back and I wanted my revenge on someone else.
I think that most of us would go and see the Pixies if they reformed.... probably even the people here who wouldn't want them to reform. I'm not sure where I stand on a Pixies reunion, before I was totally against it but now I am not too sure. If they did reform and play Britain then that would be enough for me to go back to the UK and follow the tour.
I think Frank knows that there is alot of money in a Pixies reunion, but I'm under the impression that at the moment money isn't his top priority.
