do those dandruff shampoos do any good or what
this is my current technique: I have one of those pens where you click the top and the pen pops out the bottom so you can write; so I've found that I can scratch my head with the pen, then click the top of my pen and when the pen part comes popping out, the dandruff comes with it. Works okay, but it takes too long. Doesnt really cure the problem either.

Flakes of dry scalp is not the same as dandruff, dandruff is a fungal infection. I suggest you brush your hair and scalp more often and don't wear hats. |

Why don't you try bathing and washing your hair. Everyday. |

This Is Embarassing, but i do the same thing as TII. Doesn't it suck when someone walks up and grabs your pen and you're like NO! Uh..use this pen.
I'm pretty sure you've got dry scalp like me, not dandruff.
I am baffled as to why i have it...i have amazing skin over the rest of my body, wash frequently, eat very well, active...
Puzzled. Maybe i'm just a flakey guy. |

c'mon, you can't expect me to wash every single day. i run a damp paper towel across my skin from time to time. That should be enough.

seriously though, I eat pretty well, and I do a thorough job of washing; we have a jacuzzi in our larger bathroom and I submerge my head under the water so that the jets are blowing right on my head. If that's not good enough, then dammit, what is

You could shave your head and then Turtle Wax. By the time you start growing hair the sun will have created a wax barrier which will make your scalp impervious to the affect of Dandruff... think that might work
Eh? |

Great idea, how about synging (sic) your hair off as an alternative to shaving it...
I cannot believe that no-one has said 'Use Head and Shoulders.'

Head And Shoulders is for dandruff..we've determined it's dry scalp.
H&S doesn't actually work on dandruff either. |

H&S sucks. You've gotta use it EVERY day and if you miss a day or two, the itching will be worse than ever.
The Neutrogena Therapeutic T-Gel works good for me and I only have to use it twice a week. A bottle seems to last forever if you have short hair. |
