his instrumentals are great but he never puts any out any more
Tossed is one of the most outstanding instrumentals I've heard; on the bootlegs from his earlier shows when he goes from One Step Beyond right into Tossed; that's fantastic
The 2 instros on Cult of Ray have some incredibly unique guitar pickin and the drumming is good stuff too. In short, more instrumentals would make me happy, hows about you fellas?

I'd rather he didn't do the instrumentals, as although I think they are o.k. I'd rather susbstitute them with songs with lyrics. I cannot get into an instrumental as well as a song with vocals. I always wandered why COR had two instrumentals, to me they seemed a little pointless and I usually skip through them.
I like Tossed, but again it is a much better song with lyrics. IMO if Frank releases instrumentals then they should be as b-sides and not album tracks.
War....... Its not fantastic |

I really dig all of the instros. I like the Chantays too.

I love Franks instrumentals, his music gets abit weirder sounding, like Amnesia (the little high pitched voice going "amnesia'"!) and The Adventure and the Resolution (great weird sounding gutairs) and Tossed (great Roxy Musicesque sax). It's like he plays around abit more with the sound. I love the Velvety lyrics though, he should have put them in the Pixies version I think.

I generally can't get into instrumentals as much as into songs with words. But I would like to hear in concert instrumental versions of songs fro, albums. A alow, instrumental version of Calistan would be just the thing :-)
