I am looking to trade (mp3 format or preferably CD-R) for FB shows of a specific nature. I would like a show or two with an above-average sound quality from '98 or '99 that has a nice rendition of "I Need Peace". It's probably my favorite FB song and it's so hard to find a nice sounding live version of it.
I am also looking for a '96 show containing a rockin' version of Sir Rockabye. I was at a show in Madison, and Frank claimed that it was the first time they had played the song live in a long time, and it just rocked. I got a copy of the show from someone who taped it, but it was taped with one of those $39.99 handheld cassette recorders, and the sound is just awful. If anyone has a copy of this show or any FB show in that time-frame with a nice sounding version of Sir Rockabye on it, I'd be very grateful if you'd make a trade with me.
In exchange for either of these two things, I have 4 live FB&C shows that I recorded myself. One is the rather common 2-20-00 Madison show that I put into mp3 format for levitated.net, but there is also a 2-19-00 Madison show, and St. Louis and Chicago shows from '99. I also have a bunch of other live FB and Pixies stuff that I've traded for, and also a few other live shows recorded by myself including the Flaming Lips, Luna, and Looper.
