i realize this is a frank site, but this is important news.
favourites: transdermal celebration, tried and true, happy coloured marbles, the argus, it's gonna be a long night, if you could save yourself...

Just listening to it at the moment. It has been a long wait. Awesome sound.
Doesn't look like they are coming to my town any time soon. Actually doesn't llok like they are coming to Canada any time soon. Thought they would have a Quebec date at least. Oh well!?

| HERE IS A WEEN STORY...i waited about 5 years to see ween live in concert, it was the first time they came to montreal. i always heard stories about how ween would play for about 4 to 4 1/2 hours live. anyways, when they came to town (july 99), they played for about 1 1/2 hours b4 the lights went on, music started playing on the club speakers and bouncers began moving people out....the band had just gotten warmed up and were as confused as everyone else. it turns out the venue had booked another event for 11pm that night, a formula 1 dance party (for this i blame the promoters).....so everyone is hanging around the club and i see the drummer packing stuff into their van, and tell him how annoyed i am that the club double-booked, how much i had anticipated the show, etc.... his response; 'go write a letter to congress'.....what a jackass! |

it's about time some ween fans have showed their face.
they are hard to find. I'm more of a an earlier 4-track ween fan but The mollusk ruled in my book, as well as C.A.C. I hope they come to the 40 watt again.
the blues isn't an art-form, it's a product-- not unlike computer chips and tampons.

| i don't like a lot of the early ween. chocolate and cheese, the mollusk, white pepper, and quebec are really stellar, though. |

| Brendan my friend. Ween are indeed coming to Canada. They're in Calgary in Sept. and Edmonton and Oct. I'm pushing hard for a Saskatoon date too... keep your fingers crossed. The new record sounds great so far, but I need more time with it. It will be hard to top White Pepper and the Mollusk. |

So as to not risk my own lung capacity, I've been holding other people's breath. But I don't know if it will do any good. I think Louis' would rather shell out the cash for another rousing performance by Danko Jones, Canada's answer to Andrew W.K. Help me out carolyn, send a request to Louis'! | Yeah, the album rocks. it does have some bad tracks on it though. Captain, Among His Tribe is the worst. The Fucked Jam isn't anything but annoying. All else kicks some major ass. Anyone get the cover, by the way? |

who the hell listens to rolling stone? they also gave one of my favourite albums of all time, primus' brown album, two stars.
