So I guess this is the time for a vacation thread
I'm going tomorrow and I won't be back for 2 weeks
I'm not really going to a deserted Island. But heck I'm going to an Island (Terschelling), but it seemed fun to me to have a thread about which cd's people take with them on vacation.
I choose for records I bought a while ago, but did not really know them by heart. So please note, that this aren't my favourite records or whatsoever. I just want to know them better.
here we go:
Pet sounds-Beach Boys (I actually know every word and sound on it, but I only had it for a few months. The label NEW is still on it in my head)
Manu Chao-Esperanza (Bought it yesterday)
Stranglers-Peaches (the best of, I really like the old stuff, but the new stuff blows. Maybe it needs a second opinion)
Fun Lovin' Criminals-100% Colombian (Should have bought this years ago)
Frank Black- Black letter Days (OK, it was supposed to be a collection of cd's I don't know very well. But two weeks without frank?)
Violent Femmes-Violent Femmes Deluxe (2 cd set, didn't listen to the live section at all)
Smashing Pumpkins-Pisces Iscariot (got this from a friend. should get more close listening)
The High Fidelity-The Omnichord Album (really weird album)
Ramones-Rocket To Russia (I can't decide wether I like or deteste this one)
Jeff Buckley-Grace (can't sing along with all the tracks, so included it on the list)
Air-100000 Hz (Is it a masterpiece or a masterpiss?)
So that was about it
