Hey gang - i'd like to collect a bunch (30 or more) of quotes, lines, etc. from FB.
Could you post some of your favorite quote and song lines here?
If possible, please include a reference, ie Interview, Song (and title), whatever you got. =)

here's the full quote: "My records are unsuccessful because peoples' tastes are lame. I'm not saying my music is caviar for the brain, but I can't help think my stuff is better than a lot of crap out there." |

These are great, keep 'em coming!
(And if you can include a reference, ie, which song, that would be ideal.. There's an 'edit topic' button on the right side of each message [pencil and folder icon], so you can add it in there. =)

Plain and simple: "Everyone is wrong"
From the song of the same name, heh. There are other quotes that I love but I cannot think of any at this time. |

Wow, thanks that tidbit of info, Harris. I knew it was recorded at the BBC in 96, but I did not know lyle wrote it. I shall keep that in mind for my song database :) |

- that's from an interview on a magazine that had Stephen Malkmus on the cover, I Think. I really can't remember right now. |

the chuckster sure has some amazing lyrics - but personal faves are from CHIP AWAY BOY (i think im falling in love... and now shes falling off her stool) and PISTOLERO (all he thinks about is how he looks like heroes period bowie).
slight slant - what do you think FBs most lyrically powerful song? my vote - saint francis dam disaster. cool.
cheers y'all Barry
