Does anyone know the origin of the song that frank sound checked /opened with for a while...something about "horses, sun and getting some riding done"?

Yeah, it's called "All The Tired Horses" by Bob Dylan, from his "Self Portrait" album.

...where the Ballyhoos and the Tritons are.
