Hello fellow Chicago-ite (or Chiacgoan, or something like that) My name is FrequencyOfGlow (or Kirk for short), and I am a chicago forum member. I'm an editor of a magazine (nothing to do with Mr. Thompson, unfortunately) I'm sure if you've ever been to a Frank show in Chicago, you've seen me there.
Maybe we should get together the morning of 9/9 at Reckless, thus ensuring we are the 1st 2 in the city to get a copy of SMYT

I used to frequent Chicago back in my day, but I haven't visited up there in about five or six years. I'm seriously considering moving there in a year or so, though.

I am a border dweller (Madison). I hope none of you were those obnoxious genetlemen or ladies at the pre-tour concert at the Double Door. Most people there seemed more concerned about about themselves or anyone else not on stage. bullshit. c |

Yes, Perhaps, I do remember just the undesirables you are talking about. They kept trying to overshout Dave Lovering as he was doing his thing. Once the show got started, most of them disappeared, though. Guess they had to get back to the frat house for a wicked kegger ( or something like that)

The good Reckless? They're BOTH the best music stores in Chicago! I personally have a soft spot in my heart for the original on Clark... guess I'm Old School, or maybe it's because I hate the stink butt loud Blue Line... |
