Alright, here we go:
Throw a Garth (of Wayne's World fame) wig on Andy Dick and you have a choice Rich G. I mean, he could lay down those spastic guitar god moves he does like nobody's bidness. Barry Pepper for Dave P., nice selection, sans the goat, he looks a lot like him, though he would need to be more simley than he typicaly is in his films to pull of Davey. Dave shows no emotion on stage, but off stage he's very approachable and nice. Also, Barry Pepper is not a Busey. And the great Luke Wilson as McDave is certainly a good choice as firstly, Luke Wilson rules, and secondly, he's not a Busey. I would say, conservatively, "GENIUS" casting ramona.
Why coats? Becuase that's what Homer planned to hide under, and if it's good enough for Homer, it's good enough for Jessie. |

I think "he's not a Busey" is going to be new slang in my life, if you don't mind. I'm assuming you are familiar with the new "I'm with Busey" program.
I personally am very proud of all my choices - Andy Dick and Luke Wilson especially. I need to search for a good Scott though, and I am unsure of who should be Frank in my little 'Star Catholics'. I do like Phillip Seymour Hoffman...but I feel like there is someone better.

I still think I had the best choice for Frank. I mean, Charles Thompson looks just like him. |

So far I'm the only one to suggest an actor to portray Joey. No one can argue that Rob Schneider has the perfect hairline for the job. |

Actually, I've not seen the program "I'm With Busey". I imagine it's on an american station that my mid-tier cable package does not pick up. Dean however is in posession of an american satellite feed, so I'll have to look into it there. What network is it on? It's gotta be UPN or MTV or something equally crappy like that. And yes, this year's hottest new phrase (as of right now) is "he's not a Busey". Kind of like saying "he's not bad", only in a much hipper way. You could apply to anything:
Cosmo Reading Brain Vacuum: Hey girlfriend, how was your date with Rafe?
Glamour Reading Brain Vaccum: Meh, he's not a Busey.
or,
Hipster 1: Hey dude, did you check out that weak new Terminator flick? It's totally ass.
Hipster 2[/b]: Chill dude, it's not great, but it's not a Busey.
Have fun with your new slang kids!
EDIT: Stupid bolding won't work right! |

I was thinking of it more as "at least he's not a Busey". But, hey, whatever you like.
And "I'm With Busey" is actually on Comedy Central - so it would seem even Busey knows he's a little wacked. |

Fine, make it whatever you like. Must you dump on everything I do? And until we get I'm With Busey on the weak, Canadian version of Comedy Central, creativly called "the Comedy Network" I probably won't see it. I shouldn't complain, Comedy Network isn't all bad. At least it's not a Busey. |

"o' the day"? That's it? Forget "o' the day", this should be a whole new lifestyle for you. Your life changes today, and it all revolves around that magical phrase. |

i don't think these could be classed as coats, they're more like jackets.

That's alright, I use "meh" all the time.
What seperates "coats" and "jackets", exactly? |

I'm sorry, but...
nobody but Jennifer Tilly would make the perfect Kim. I mean, her voice even sounds similar! Lili Taylor comes close, though. |

Maybe Jennifer Connelly could play Kim Deal. Or perhaps there could be a scene in the movie involving the photo shoot of the Surfer Rosa cover, and she could play that girl.
Kim Deal character:
Surfer Rosa chick character:

Yes Floop, your suggestion for Carrot Top is hilarious, but I'm afraid he could only play the character of "Dialing-down-the-center-1-800-C-A-L-L-A-T-T-Rich-Gilbert."

i always thought this photo of the pixies looked quite futuristic and matrix-y for some reason
so there you have it! just watch the matrix instead. sure, kim and one of the boys seem to have a bit of a romance goin on, but hollywood always peppers up these true story movies.
